Rieko is an entrepreneur passionate about new ventures. While studying business administration at Erasmus University, the first business was launched. After gaining experience in roles focused on business development and management consulting with KLM, Philips Thailand, and KPMG Consulting, Rieko co-founded Bluem in 2000 alongside Atos Nederland and Scan Laser. Rieko became CEO in 2002 and has been dedicated to the wide adoption of identity, payment, and compliance solutions ever since. Rieko has held various interbank positions under the Dutch Payments Association and NVB's auspices, focusing on FiNBOX and other transaction services.
