If it turns out that the name known to the banks is completely different, be cautious. There may be fraud involved. You will receive a notification that a different name is associated with this IBAN.
Typo
If there's a typo in the name, such as Jansen instead of Janse, you will receive the exact name known to the bank. You can adopt the suggested name in the records.
Correct
IBAN and name match.
You will also receive confirmation whether the IBAN account number is active, and if it's a business account, you will also receive the location. Your company can then proceed, but only with positive feedback. If you encounter an error message, contact the customer and verify the payment details using another method.
